Obituary:
Hank William Edwards of Townsend, De., died July 30, 2004. He was 39.
Hank William Edwards was born August 28, 1964 in Dover, De., the son of Margaret
Ann Bennett and the late Thomas Leroy Edwards. Mr. Edwards spent his life as a
musician and for the past four years owned and operated the sound equipment at
Froggy’s Night Club in Dover, De. He enjoyed playing music, riding his dirtbike,
deer hunting, watching NASCAR with his wife, and watching the Yankee’s and the
Eagles play.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Karen A. Edwards of Townsend, De., one
daughter Torie Edwards of Townsend, De., his mother Margaret Ann Bennett and
step father C. Leonard Bennett both of Galena, Md., his grandmother Mary V.
Semans of Galena, Md., four step sisters, Cathy Miglionico of Carbondale,
Kansas, Missie Haley of Galena, Md., Judy Solversom of Church Hill, Md., Amy
McCauley of Wilmington, De., and their families, his mother and father in law
Lee and Walt Candy of Smyrna, De., one sister in law Chris Letterman of Clayton,
De., and her family, his cat Scooter and numerous aunts, uncles, and other
family members and friends.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 1:00pm at the Fellows,
Helfenbein and Newnam funeral home, 370 W. Cypress St., Millington, Md. A
visitation will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2004 from 6-8pm and also one hour
prior to the service.
Interment will be held in Mt. Olive cemetery in Sandtown, De.
In Lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to PNC Bank, Smyrna De. For the
Victoria Ann Edwards Educational Fund which will be used for his daughters
schooling.
